ADULT CONFIRMATION

Adult? Not Confirmed?  #890 of the Church’s Code of Canon Law says that “the faithful are obliged to receive this sacrament at the proper time.” This might be that time for you! We will be starting our spring series of adult Confirmation preparation sessions January 14, 2020.  They take place on Tuesday evenings 7-8:10 pm. If you are interested, please contact Fr. Gregg Grovenburg, S.J. at 504-865-2328 or email him at [email protected]

We do not have weddings on Friday nights during Lent.

RCIA

Know someone who wants to become a Catholic? Please have them contact Mr. George White: [email protected] or 504-813-9450  Our RCIA sessions begin  each September. Breaking open the word is done at the 6 pm Sunday Mass. Participants sit in the first pews on the Loyola side. They are dismissed with their leader after the prayers of the faithful.  They meet in the sacristy (behind the altar) to study the readings for that Sunday.  The participants also meet weekly on Monday at 7 pm in the North Room of the Parish Center for presentations on the Catholic faith.
