High School Confirmation
Confirmation will be celebrated by Bishop Fernand J. Cheri III, on Friday April 17, 2020 at 7P.M. in Holy Name of Jesus Church.
Two years of religious education in the Holy Name of Jesus Parish School of Religion or in a Catholic High School is a prerequisite for entry into Confirmation preparation. Registration Form for ongoing coursework in School of Religion is found under Programs/Religious Education on the website. Preparation for all Parish 11th and 12th graders who desire the sacrament in 2020, will begin on Sunday, Aug. 18, 2019 at 4:30 pm in Holy Name of Jesus Church. Students and their parents meet to hear the outline of the program and to receive registration packets and the calendar.

#890 of the Church’s Code of Canon Law says that “the faithful are obliged to receive this sacrament at the proper time.” This might be that time for you! We will be starting our fall series of adult Confirmation preparation sessions September 2018. They take place on Tuesday evenings.
