The Eucharist is the heart and the summit of the Church’s life, for in it Christ associates his Church and all her members with his sacrifice of praise and thanksgiving offered once for all on the cross to his Father; by this sacrifice he pours out the graces of salvation on his Body which is the Church.

First Communion will be celebrated on Sunday, April 8, 2018, at 2 P.M. in Holy Name of Jesus Church.
Second graders from Holy Name of Jesus School and other Catholic Schools in the area as well as qualifying children in the Holy Name of Jesus School of Religion are invited to participate in the Ceremony and all associated special events. Registration is requested for all but the Holy Name of Jesus School students. A parents meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 11, at 7 P.M. in the Holy Name of Jesus School Auditorium.
