High School Confirmation

Archbishop Hughes will celebrate Confirmation for High School Students at Holy Name of Jesus Church at 7pm on Saturday, April 21, 2018. Confirmation Preparation sessions for all candidates –Catholic, Private and Public School Students currently in 11th and 12th grade– will begin on January 6, 2018. Two years of religious education either in Catholic School or Parish Schools of Religion is a requisite. Ongoing School of Religion classes for 10th-12th grade students in non Catholic Schools who desire Confirmation begin on August 27, 2017. #890 of the Church’s Code of Canon Law says that “the faithful are obliged to receive this sacrament at the proper time.” This might be that time for you! We will be starting our spring series of adult Confirmation preparation sessions January 20, 2015. They take place on Tuesday evenings.
